App Features

Everything Attendees
Actually Use.

We've watched thousands of attendees use these apps at real events. These aren't features we thought sounded good — they're the ones people open and re-open all weekend long.

Personal Schedule Builder

Attendees build their schedule in the app or on the web, share it with friends, and keep everything in sync — changes update live across all their devices.

Match — Swipe the Lineup

Swipe through artists like Tinder — right to favorite, left to skip. Each card plays a song preview so attendees discover their must-sees by sound, not just name. The lineup becomes a deck of cards; their schedule builds itself in minutes.

Push Notifications

Stage changes, surprise announcements, set-time reminders, and last-call alerts sent directly to attendees' phones. The most direct channel you'll ever have to your audience.

Lineometer

Real-time line length visibility for popular venues — attendees see where the crowds are building and plan their night accordingly. Less waiting, better experience.

Venue Maps

Stages, food vendors, restrooms, medical, parking, accessibility routes — all on a zoomable map you control from the admin panel. No app re-submit needed to update.

What You Need to Provide

We do the heavy lifting. Here's all we need from you to get started.

Brand Assets

Your logo (SVG or high-res PNG), primary colors, and any custom fonts you use.

Event Content

Artist/speaker names, bios, headshots, and schedule — in whatever format you have it.

Developer Account

Apple Developer ($99/yr) and Google Play ($25 one-time). We'll help you set these up if you don't have them.

Do attendees see the Dionysus name anywhere?
+
No — never. The app lives entirely under your brand. Dionysus isn't mentioned in the App Store listing, inside the app, or anywhere attendees interact with it. We're intentionally invisible.
Can I update the app content without re-submitting?
+
Yes. Almost all content — schedules, artist bios, venue maps, announcements — updates live from your admin panel without requiring an App Store re-submission. Only structural changes require a new build.
What if my event changes or adds artists last-minute?
+
Update it in the admin panel and it goes live instantly in the app. You can even send a push notification to all attendees letting them know about the change — all in under two minutes.
Do we get the app after the event ends?
+
The app lives in your developer account, so you own it completely. Many events reuse the same app year over year and just update the content for each new edition.

Dionysus created a user-friendly, interactive app that helped take our music festival experience to the next level. Attendees were able to research artists, build a schedule and share it with their friends. We'd absolutely use them again.

The team at Dionysus has been an absolute pleasure to work with, supporting Freakout with our app and festivals. Having their support building out the Freakout app has been incredible — providing our performing artists, fans, and attendees a wonderful artist discovery experience crucial to our brand and nonprofit mission. I would highly recommend large and small promoters utilize Dionysus.
